Hydroponic Veggies Hydroponic Plants in STEM Bob Hope Students are learning about this alternative way to grow vegetables. Show Transcript hi everyone this is Cindy Cuellar Miss Claire for the stem teacher Bob Hope Elementary and I wanted to come on and share one of the things that we're doing here in our stem class we are growing hydroponic vegetables for growing lettuce for going cherry tomatoes spinach celery and oregano and I wanted to come on and just kind of show you what the kids are doing what we're learning about so we're going to move this over and I'm going to show you our hydropower this is our hydroponic farms and appear we have cherry tomatoes that you see that we're growing we have near lettuce we're growing spinach this is crunchy lettuce here and if we move this way you're going to see that we're also growing celery and oregano so the kids are monitoring the growth of these plants are we are monitoring them weekly it's really exciting the kids love it and we're just growing vegetables here at Bob Hope Elementary hydroponically so I hope everyone has a great day bye but we will also keep track I will be home and other videos additional videos to show how the progress is going with our Hydroponics and as of right now this is three weeks in the starred as little plants but I will keep track of these plants and I'll post another video to show how much they've grown
