Welcome to Bob Hope Elementary School
Welcome back! We have made the move to the new building located at 11303 Tilson in the back of the Spicewood subdivision. What a wonderful new facility for our teachers and students! Please join us on August 22nd from 3:00 to 5:00 to drop off school supplies and meet your child’s teacher. We will also be conducting guided tours of the new facility every half-hour. If you have not had the opportunity to visit us – this is the perfect time to experience the tour along-side of your child.
Being in a new building calls for new procedures. Traffic signs are posted to indicate entry and exit areas. If you will be dropping off or picking up your child please enter on the right and drive forward as far as possible. This will help us move the traffic through at a steady rate. At the end of the day one of the staff members will escort your child to the vehicle door. We have plenty of parking at our new location. Visitor parking is located outside the fence in front of the school. It is important to park in the designated area in order to ensure student safety during drop-off and pick-up times. Thank you in advance for helping to spread the word.
The three Rs will continue to to be emphasized at Bob Hope: Respect Others, Respect Yourself, and Respect Property. Encourage your child to follow the 3Rs at home and in school. When your child consistently follows the 3Rs and can explain their meaning, they will be able to apply to be a self-manager. Self-Managers earn privileges in the classroom and at the campus level. It’s cool to be a self-manager! Ask your child for more details after the first week of school.
We encourage you to get involved and participate in the PTA. It takes all of us working together to guide our children along the path to success! See you soon!
